PILOT: CPL Ground Course
CPL comprises of 2 parts
ie Ground Classes and Flying Training. While flying training gives that edge to the entire programme which involves actual feel of the cockpit , its the ground subjects which are lengthy and demands dedication and focus. DGCA allows multiple attempts to clear the ground school subjects, with each new attempt coming up in a time interval of 3 months. However, the duration of your CPL Course is directly proportional to the time you take to clear the ground subjects exam.

Basic prerequisites
You must complete Class XII under the 10 2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in maths and physics.
Your vision in one eye must be perfect. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
You need to complete the requisite number of hours, clear written papers and the medical examination.
You need 70 percent marks to pass in each of these papers. You can keep appearing until you clear them.

COMMERCIAL PILOT TRAINING (CPL/PPL/ATPL)

Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: Minimum Class XII (With Maths, Physics).
Basic Prerequisites for CPL :
- You must complete Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent marks in Maths and physics.
- You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.
- You should have a keen interest in Flying.
- General physical fitness under Class II is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
- For General Physical fitness of Class II, Doctors/Examiners will be referred by PTC Aviation.
- You must possess extraordinary communication skills.
- Physical Fitness & Eyesight is very important.
- Should take emotional decisions with great confidence, because hundreds of passengers’ lives are in your hand
PTC WILL TRAIN ON A CONCEPT BASIS, WITH GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE CLASS ALONG WITH DGCA MATERIALS AND QUESTIONS, SO THAT YOU CAN CLEAR ALL 4 PAPERS.

- Air Navigation = Study about Art of routing and Radio instruments
- Air Regulation = Study about Rules of Air under Aircraft Act 1937
